About Us
Angelstarr Farm is a small private farm that offers education programs about farm animals for both children and Adults. With over 30 years experience with horses and caring for animals the owner/trainer enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with her students.
We offer horsemanship lessons, after school enrichment programs, beginner riding lessons,summer camps and more. Our main focus is teaching our students how to properly care for farm animals including Horses, Llamas, Goats, and Chickens . We stress the importance of letting the animals live naturally and always doing what is best for the animals, not just what is convenient for us. We teach how to understand the animal, particularly horses, in order to create a harmonious relationship with them. This is very important in our riding lessons as proper communication is essential to riding effectively and safely. Horses and other farm animals provide so much enjoyment to our lives. They are mystical creatures that are very therapeutic for our mind,body and souls. Caring for animals teaches us many valuable lessons such as patience, responsibility,commitment, communication skills,etc. They also provide an insight to ourselves and help us to grow as individuals. Just being around animals and connecting with them provides a natural healing experience and a sense of peace and happiness to all.
